Thanks a lot for your email

With a week's effort, I created a near neat player (in laszlo
ofcourse) which lists channels that you can select from. To get the
channel and track information, I implemented a server side task that
can write an xml file, refreshed every 5 secs

Here is the player in action (with a basic skin done using gimp)
