Hi Doug,

Sorry for the duplicate, I forgot to CC the list the first time.

I'm trying to follow the instructions on the site, but have been stumbling
over various blocks.
So far, I believe I have the Sun SDK 6 setup, and when I type "echo
$JAVA_HOME", I get "/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun".
However, when I try the command "sudo
./lps-4.2.0.1/Server/tomcat-5.0.24/bin/startup.sh", I get the following:
The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined
This environment variable is needed to run this program

You've not told us what version of Ubuntu you are running.
You need to make sure you have the Java JDK installed. On my system (Ubuntu 8.04) I had to install the sun-java6-jdk package ...

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk

HTH,
Pico
