i didn't mean to imply that mixins aren't awesome in some of my recent 
emails, just that there are some places where I think they aren't the 
best possible answer.

In creating the chainable system that is the foundation of the new 
replication system being made here, mixins are going to rock.

I hope to get IRC talks going sometime, give all us interested parties a 
chance to meet and discuss where we can hash out misunderstandings and 
patterns easier.
