I'm not sure what version of Flash your FlashPaper swf file is, but if it is Flash 8 or earlier, you will have no playback control over it if you load it into Flash 10. Flash 10 uses a new and different virtual machine (AVM2), and it can support Flash 8 movieclips by running them in an AVM1 virtual machine, but only enough to play them, but with no controls to stop or otherwise call into the movieclip in any way.
