The search results for "Ajax" are a bit skewed, just look at the
references next to the chart. Many entries point to "Ajax Amsterdam"
(note for our american readers: Ajax Amsterdam is a soccer club ;-) ).
Apart from that, I totally understand your concerns towards the term
"DHTML".

how many people would google for "DHTML RIA" instead of "HTML5 RIA"? And
