Version: latex2html 98.1p1 release on linux redhat 5.1

It appears that latex2html gets confused when I use \includegraphics
to include non-postscript figures.. For example if I define:

\DeclareGraphicsRule{.tiff}{eps}{.tiff.bb}{`convert #1 'eps2:-' }
\DeclareGraphicsRule{.gif}{eps}{.gif.bb}{`convert #1 'eps2:-' }
\DeclareGraphicsRule{.jpg}{eps}{.jpg.bb}{`convert #1 'eps2:-' }

In latex this allows me to do things like:
\includegraphics[height=2in,width=\columnwidth]{fig/upscope.jpg}

so I don't have to convert all my figures to postscript (believe it or
not, this is annoying to do).

latex2html gets confused when I do that, trying to use ghostscript to
convert a non-postscript figure to a gif. I wanted to draw your attention
to this problem.

I'm not sure what the best solution is - I'm thinking one option is to
require the Imagemagick tools instead of ghostscript. They can convert
pretty much any format to any other format (including postscript).

Anydody working on a solution to this already?
