Hello all,

        I've installed latex2html v98.1 without any single
problem. I'm running RedHat Linux 5.1 in a pentium. The problem is
when I try to convert simple latex files (even de example that comes
with the distribution), I get the following error:

-----------------------
| Image is PGM, 85x29
| Running /usr/bin/pnmcrop < image001.ppm | /usr/bin/ppmquant 256 | /usr/bin/pnmtopng
|-interlace -trans '#ffffff' > s2img1.png
| pnmcrop: cropping 2 rows off the top
| pnmcrop: cropping 2 rows off the bottom
| pnmcrop: cropping 2 cols off the left
| pnmcrop: a file read or write error occurred at some point
| pnmcrop: fclose - Bad file descriptor
| ppmquant: EOF / read error reading magic number
| pnmtopng: EOF / read error reading magic number
| pstoimg: Conversion failed: Illegal seek
|
| Output image is in file: /tmp/l2h4263/s2img1.png
|
| *** finished child process: #4277
|
| Error while converting image: No such file or directory
------------------------

this is with the -debug flag. I've read the troubleshooting section in
the manual at no avail.

The first two (pnmcrop and ppmquant) work OK, but the last one
pnmtopng gives a segmentation fault. I don't know what is wrong,
please help me.

Thank you,
Francisco
