This one is very odd, and involves image generation.

During processing I see:

images will be generated in
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951
This is dvipsk 5.58f Copyright 1986, 1994 Radical Eye Software
' TeX output 1998.05.11:1203' ->
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image

(-> /rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image001)
<tex.pro><special.pro><color.pro>[1<class.ps>]
(-> /rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image002)
<tex.pro><special.pro><color.pro>[2]

[etc.]

and then...

pstoimg: Cannot find file
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image005.ps: No such
file or directory

Error while converting image: No such file or directory
pstoimg: Cannot find file
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image006.ps: No such
file or directory

[etc.]

and then, of course...

Failed to convert image
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image005.ps

Failed to convert image
/rndDISKS/oneida1/users/restricted/BlueSky/manual/html/l2h24951image006.ps

[etc.]

It looks like what's happening is that it should have made a directory
named l2h24951 in which to store ps files with names, e.g.,
image005.ps, but instead it makes files with names like
l2h24951image005 in the html directory. If I view those files with
names like l2h24951image005 they are indeed valid ps files.

What might I be doing to cause this?
