Nice of you to say so.
We'll release it as v98.2, when a few remaining compatbility issues
are resolved.

Yes. This is necessary if the HTML code is to be valid,
according to the DTD.
Some browsers will show the correct effect without having this
validity --- but that's not the point.

Keeping all tags correctly nested is one of the trickiest parts
of the LaTeX2HTML programming.

Hmm. That's not supposed to happen.
Do you have an example of this that I can see, and get the source?

That's a useful tip.
I'll have another look at how \normalsize works.
However having an explicit example of this fault will help,
since there may be problems with the nesting *before* the
\normalsize is processed.
