I just learned about chomp (instead of chop) the other day, when
someone else on this list mentioned it as a possibly safer way of
doing it, specifically in this context. Sorry, but I can't think of
exactly who at this late hour (Uri?), but they should get credit, not
me. I was just the messenger.
