I'm trying to use latex2html 98.1 with the harvard bibliography style,
but I can't get it to work. The latex2html manual says that there is
an nharvard "package" to make it work under natbib. Does this mean
nharvard.perl (which I have) or nharvard.sty (which I can't find
anywhere). If I usepackage{natbib} some of the harvard commands aren't
defined, and if I usepackage{natbib,harvard} others are defined
twice.
Using usepackage{harvard}, if the source text is
Repulsion parameters for exponential repulsion are available for
some atoms; for instance \citeasnoun{Mirsky78} gives recommended values.
\citename{Williams65} \citeyear{Williams65,Williams67} gives values for
hydrocarbons.
the html comes out as
Repulsion parameters for exponential repulsion are available for
some atoms; for instance
<A HREF=#Mirsky78><tex2html_citekey_mark>##Mirsky78<tex2html_cite_mark>
(##Mirsky78<tex2html_citeyear_mark>)</A> gives recommended values.
<A
HREF=#Williams65><tex2html_citekey_mark>##Williams65<tex2html_citename_mark></A>
(<A
HREF=#Williams65><tex2html_citekey_mark>##Williams65<tex2html_citeyear_mark></A>,
<A HREF=#Williams67><tex2html_citekey_mark>##Williams67
<tex2html_citeyear_mark></A>) gives values for
hydrocarbons.
(I've inserted some line-breaks.) There is no link to the actual
references, although they are all there on another page, and the text
displays as
Repulsion parameters for exponential repulsion are
available for some atoms; for instance ##Mirsky78 (##Mirsky78) gives
recommended values.
##Williams65 (##Williams65, ##Williams67) gives values for hydrocarbons.
which wouldn't be very pretty even if the links worked.
I must be doing something wrong, but I haven't been able to work out
what. Any assistance would be gratefully received.
