Hi, experts,
I just tried latex2html but it did work well. I spend quite a few hours trying
to fix the problems but failed. Any help will be very much appreciated.
I have basicly two problems. First, in the images of my math displays, there
are thick black lines on the left and the bottom. Now, you can see what I meant
by look at the converted html file at
http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/~kye/ams102/handout1/handout1.html. I looked at
images.dvi which has the same type of image. you can look at it at
http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/~kye/ams102/handout1/images.dvi.
Second, GS refuse to convert image001.ps. I know it is a large table and the
other images are all much smaller. I am using ghostscript 5.10 but only have
pbmplus but no netpbm. Is that the problem? The original latex file is
available at http://www.ams.sunysb.edu/~kye/ams102/handout1.tex.
I used the latest latex2html, version 98.1p1. I tried the 96 version as well,
which didn't generate any of the images. My system uses latex2e,
(C version 6.1), dvipsk 5.58f, perl 5.003.
Thanks in advnace
