If you (or any one else) want, I can provide you rpm packages for both
GNU/Linux or Solaris. The easiest for me would be to send you the
.spec file that allows to construct an rpm package starting from the
distribution. My files should probably been tuned to take into account
other TeX distributions (I use directly web2c) and perl location.
Ross, do you want the small .spec file to include in a "contrib"
directory in the distribution ?
