Hi,

For some time I'm working on a quite big document,
with some 15 source files, 50 figures and some
math generating 50 extra figures again. LaTeX
gives me what I'm waiting for. Until recently,
LaTeX2HTML (latex2html-init98.1p1) used to do the
same, but after some additions I have strange
        trouble.

When coming at one of the mathematical formulas,
LaTeX2HTML (pstoimg? gs?) generates an empty figure,
put it in place of the formula, generates
a correct figure and put it in the place... of
        the next figure!

And so on : after that all the figures are shifted, so
each figure appears at the wrong place, with the
wrong amount of space. Renaming each file containing
an image with the right name would correct the
problem, but it is practically unworkable.

I've tried many things: removing the offending
formula, put extra braces around, switching from
$...$ to $$...$$, checking for syntax : no result.
IMHO, it seems to be an anormal behaviour.

        Any idea? Thanks in advance.

        Laurent Bloch
