Hi, I'm new on this list. I've tried to install LaTeX2HTML (l2h 97.1)on a Win98-System with MiKTeX. Perl 5.09, GhostScript5.50 and the netpbm-Utilities are installed. I've modified the first line of several files from #!/usr.../perl/ to #!C:/perl. Then I run install-test, but it shows error-messages that it can't make texexpand executable. I think there's no equivalent chmod command under Windows, right? What do I have to do to run these fabulous scripts under Windows (at the moment I can't change to linux). Is there a step-by-step-guide for a windows-installation? I heard that some people can use LaTeX2HTMl under windows. I will be one of them:-) Thanks in advance for any comment Jens Berger
