Have you tried putting the color-change *before* the \begin{alltt} ?
This shouldn't be necessary, but may help.

The Developers' Repository has moved to Bayreuth:

The latest version there is dated 4 March;
but I made some changes yesterday.
The archive hasn't updated for these yet, it seems.
(One of the recent bug-fixes to the main latex2html script
may be what is making the difference between what you get,
and what I now get.)
Nevertheless, you can get them by CVS,
or by looking in the user/ directory and subdirectories.
Before announcing a general release, I want to check out
the problems that Chopde was having with incompatible code,
due to conflicting versions of comment.sty .
(This affects the html.sty package.)
