I've looked in the archives for answers to the problem of transparent plots appearing grey, and it seems that this is still an unsolved problem (at least for me it is!). Does anyone have a solution to this? Some details: I'm using png style graphics with netpbm on a Solaris system. Some inline graphics appear transparent (i.e. I can see a coloured background underneath) but most graphics appear with an opaque grey background. I've set $TRANSPARENT_FIGURES=1; Nick Ellis CSIRO Marine Research mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] PO Box 120 ph +61 (07) 3826 7260 Cleveland QLD 4163 fax +61 (07) 3826 7222 Australia http://www.marine.csiro.au
