Hello!  

I discovered that latex2html treats them differently.
Translating 

$f(n,k,\dots)$ and $g(n,k,\dots)$

i've got

<I>f</I> (<I>n</I>, <I>k</I>,...) and <I>g</I>(<I>n</I>, <I>k</I>,...)

(i skiped <!--MATH --> comments) with space after "f", but not after
"g".
