I am having a lot of trouble with images. The most serious problem being that there is an error generated in images.log regarding the pagecolor being an unrecognized command (see the complete file below):

=====================================The result of this error is that various images in the document (always the first image, but others as well) are replaced by an image reading '[gray].85'. Does anyone know where this error is being generated and how I can get my images back?
