There's already been a lot of good feedback in this thread, and I do think that your mockup is a genuine improvement over the existing page. However I'd like to be clear on a couple of things: who this page is for, and what they might want to do with it? Having written answers to these seemed to help the Soyuz PPA page design, and I reckon they'd help here. As I said, it's a definite improvement.
