Summary: ======== We landed a few branches in devel before devel closed at 0900 UTC this morning, as well as a few late rc fixes on db-devel. So from now on, please make sure that any release-critical branches you are working on target db-devel.
Note: the absolute latest that you'll be able to submit an rc branch to db-devel is 2009-11-03 00:00 UTC (9hrs before the scheduled release). Thanks to more excellent work from mthaddon and mwhudson we got our db_lp back up. There were still a few issues with the bzr checkout of db-devel timing out (after the default 20mins). We updated the timeout to 40mins and now lp_buildbot is happy (it turns out, without a local repo, it's taking 21mins to checkout a complete db-devel). So, the good news is that we currently have both builders (for devel and db-devel) running the test suite. Let's see how they finish :) QA == So that means our remaining task is just to get everything QA'd. For some people, the lack of staging updates has been an issue - but staging should be updated (code/schema, but not data-refresh) around 30mins after the db-devel buildbot finishes successfully (could it do otherwise?) and is merged into db-stable. But it will take a second db-devel buildbot run before all the latest devel changes are included (assuming the current devel run finishes successfully). Note to registry team: there are 3 current-rollout-blocker bugs listed as 'In progress' for you guys, please let us know if this is still the case.
