Hello everyone,

We made some some changes last week to how sourcecode/ branches are managed.
We now specify the revision of the branch to use. This will allow us to move
the production-devel branch to buildbot.

This also means that we don't need to run the Launchpad test suite in PQM when
merging to these branches (so landing there is much faster). But for Launchpad
to use your new revision, you'll need to update to land a Launchpad branch
updating the utilities/sourcedeps.conf with the new revision. That branch will
trigger a test run in buildbot using the usual mechanism.

This also will remove the needs for LOSA assisted merges.

So when you want to update one of the few remaining sourcecode/ branches:

0- (Can you move it to buildbout instead?)
1- Make your changes and get it reviewed.
2- Run the branch tests locally (not run through PQM, and wasn't run anyway
for most of them).
3- Land it in PQM.
4- Create a LP branch updating the revision number of the branch and get it
reviewed.
5- ec2test it and land it through PQM.

Cheers
