As you probably know by now, our UI design expert, Martin Albisetti, has taken a new job within Canonical. This leaves us with the need to make a major change in the way we deal with UI reviews. I have met with Iain Farrell, the project manager for the Design group. We have agreed to be the points of contact for UI review requests from Launchpad to the Design team.
The main reason we choose to do this at this point is to manage the challenges of UI review requests. The Design team has several major projects underway. They will be able to work with our teams, but the response time and needs for more detailed Launchpad knowledge must be managed early on. Please contact me when you are in need of a UI review. I will work with the Design team to ensure your request is being handled and that blocking issues are being solved.
