Right, agree with Max that it seems a bit insane, and agree with Robert that two cookies looks like the right answer.
To Max's point about encouraging Lynx to change their policy, I would do so but can't find a bug tracker (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/lynx is waiting for them!).
