Pretty much all you need to know is that if you set an expiry time on a LibraryFileAlias or break all the references to a LibraryFileAlias then it will do the right thing (remove unreferenced LibraryFileAlias records, remove unreferenced LibraryFileContent records, removed unreferenced files from disk, remove expired files from disk).
