I think it's up to the individual owners - i.e. gary, salgado, etc. - to deregister their AMIs at: https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/home#s=Images Then the bucket that held the AMI needs to be deleted at: https://console.aws.amazon.com/s3/home The bucket will have a name of the form launchpad-ec2testXXX. However, to delete the bucket, its contents need to be deleted first. Multiple objects in the bucket can be selected for deletion with a familiar click+shift-click. I think that's it. There's probably a command line way to do it too, but I don't know it offhand.
