https://launchpad.net/~cjwatson/+archive/launchpad ... contains changes to apt and python-apt which are required in order to land these two branches: https://code.launchpad.net/~cjwatson/launchpad/dpkg-xz-support-619152 https://code.launchpad.net/~cjwatson/launchpad/multiarch-translations (Some of the changes were already in lucid-updates, and all of them are in oneiric.) Julian Edwards told me that I should stage them in a PPA and then they could be reviewed and copied into the Launchpad PPA. Could a Launchpad developer who knows how to do this take care of it?
