This ties into our 256+ critical bugs too. I'd really like to see our high bugs downgraded to medium and our critical bugs downgraded to high. This way we can use critical for the stuff that genuinely has to be fixed right now possibly late at night and on weekends, unlike the bulk of our existing critical bugs which we hope to deal with in the next 6 months. 6 months away doesn't match most peoples definition of critical... I know that if I find a bug that is genuinely critical I need to just fix it myself rather than deal with explaining why this critical bug is more critical than the other critical bugs queued up, which I don't really know, because all critical bugs queued up are critical. Maybe one of the numerous critical bugs is more critical than my critical bug even though they are both defined as equally critical? And ensuring someone grabs it because our critical intray is 6 months long and it will get lost in there. Ideally this would all happen before the genuinely critical bug becomes an incident. -- Stuart Bishop <stu...@stuartbishop.net> http://www.stuartbishop.net/ _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev Post to : launchpad-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
