I'm not seeing the slowdown problems since omitting launchpad from the whitelist of sites I allow to run javascript. It means manually enabling it to include a commit message or prerequisite branch with a merge proposal, but that's a minor annoyance. If the pages started becoming unstyled as well, that would be more frustrating.
