We have a sharing picker that uses colours for each kind of information. This will appear in bugs and branches soon, but everyone can see this on the skeleton view we built for sharing. I do not think colour is appropriate, but maybe other can argue it is needed:
Visit https://launchpad.net/launchpad/+sharing Choose the Share link Search for launchpad-security Select launchpad-security [Disregard the bogus picker title and Public and Public security options] When I see colours in Lp enumerations, I interpret that the colour means a sequence or scale, where colour is used to indicate how I should react. Red is critical--act now. Green is Fix Released, action is complete. There is not action for me to take when I see a kinds of information. Saying something is Public or Proprietary is statement of fact. There is no action to take. Embargoed Security is the only kind of information that may have an action -- fix it, then change it to Unembargoed security.
