When you don't understand something in Launchpad, the appropriate place to look for help is immediately around that thing on the page. Launchpad has context-sensitive help like that in some places (especially forms), but not others. Where we don't, we should, and my positive feedback is for you to please please report bugs about specific cases where context- sensitive help is missing.
