I've tried making the var visible = this.get('visible') correction and it still
fails. I'm not sure why it's unreliable, but it pretty clearly is within this
scope, and I've spent too much time already trying to track down what has been
setup wrong. I don't love using the class either, but it seems more reliable in
this instance.
The change in space wasn't intentional, and has been changed.
