The proposal to merge lp:~cjwatson/launchpad/remove-check-geoip-db into lp:launchpad has been updated.
Description changed to: utilities/check-geoip-db used to be called from the top-level Makefile, but r6934 changed things around so that the appservers check for it on the fly instead (see bug 262102; plus it's in launchpad-dependencies). Since nothing calls this any more, we should drop it.
