Your commit message tells the what, but not the why. Could you please add a reason why we do this? If you could find a link to the discussion we had would be awesome (to this MP, not to the commit message). I think there were also a couple of blog posts out there discussing why this makes sense.
Uh, that is what I call a massive pull request... https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/10205/files And the blog post I mentioned was https://hynek.me/til/copyright-years/ I think it would make sense to add it to the commit message, I am pretty sure Guruprasad mentioned it in the discussion we had back then. -- https://code.launchpad.net/~ines-almeida/launchpad/+git/launchpad/+merge/460944 Your team Launchpad code reviewers is requested to review the proposed merge of ~ines-almeida/launchpad:update-copyright-date-across-launchpad into launchpad:master. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-reviewers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-reviewers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
