Do need to chat to some folks to see how this works for them, especially with snapshot based use case. Imagine if you request a 15 day old snapshot, the security pocket doesn't work (apt doesn't fake an older date when accessing snapshots), you have to set the same option as in old-releases.
Probably it makes sense to be able to restrict the feature for oracular at first so people can test it.
