In the future, there may be a need for the internal use of a bug management package. The need for an internal bug management package will allow users to post bugs, allowing the system administrators to submit bugs upstream.
The Malone concept of tracking bugs upstream with a very simple interface for end users to submit problems to could be a good solution for internal use. Users can submit problems in their own terms, leaving the system administrators to submit the technical backtraces/information to the upstream trackers. Users would also be able to easily track the progress of the upstream bug, even if they don't understand the technical side. The use of either Malone or the Gnome Bugzilla internally would be the best solution for an internal bug management system as the normal Bugzilla is scary for most people. Is there any plans in the future to release Malone as a standalone package for use on an Ubuntu/Debian server? -- Regards, Naaman Campbell Graduate IT Officer Teys Bros https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOnSunRay https://wiki.ubuntu.com/CorporateUbuntu
