I have mail server here since at least 2003 (if not earlier, although my IP changed 6 or more months ago), nobody ever complained about being not able to send mail to me. And I corresponded with people from America, Europe, and Asia. I'm also signed up with several mailing lists, and all of them work correctly (including this list that I'm writing on). Are you sure I'm not firewalled by you? 74.0.0.0/8 was once a reserved address space, and many administrators firewalled it, since they thought no legitimate traffic can come from that address, this is not true anymore, but there are few places which still didn't updated their firewall (I suspect your server isone of them). http://www.lunytune.net/ipf/74.html http://www.iana.org/assignments/ipv4-address-space -- Best regards, Derek mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] CCNA, SCSA, SCNA, LPIC, MCP certified http://www.takeda.tk -- A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking. -- launchpad-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/launchpad-users
