Hi everyone- I'm the project manager for Gallery (http://gallery.menalto.com/) and we've had some discussion about using Rosetta for translations and I had a few questions that need some clarification before we make up our minds one way or the other. Some background: we use subversion on SourceForge to manage our code and there is a target in a Makefile that needs to be run to compile the .po files and make them usable in Gallery. If I understood the FAQ correctly, Rosetta can stay in sync with a branch in SVN. Is there more information on how this works? How frequently is synchronization done? Would there be any way for our language makefile target to be run before Rosetta makes a commit? When .po files are updated in SVN, could/does Rosetta grab them? How are conflicts handled?
Thanks for any information anyone can provide. You probably are aware of the need that Rosetta fills and we are pretty excited about the possibility of being able to use it with Gallery.
