Hello,
I'm new to Ubuntu and last week i tried to offer my help as translator, and
i'm not sure at all than my subscription is OK. I supose that the fact that
i recieved this mail wich i'm replying to means that i've already subscribed
correctly. May you can help me telling me how the translation tasks work for
Ubuntu, i mean, i started using ubuntu a few weeks ago and i would like to
help translating several texts (in the pair english>spanish) that are not in
Spanish yet, but i can't find a clear way to do it. Actually i work as
professional translator at home and many days y could spend some extra time
translating several texts for ubuntu documentation, in reply to this
marvellous free project that is ubuntu, but for me it's no so clear how can
i start translating. May you can tell me how you use to get texts or tasks
for translate it.

palyndrom) but i'm not hiding from anybody, may i can change it and put my

Hi,
A while ago I did a little trial to use LP for translations of Task
Coach (taskcoach). Now I want to start using it in favor of people
using .po files/poEdit for translations. However, import of source
code is stopped (probably of lack of activity from my part). How can I
get the import to be started again so I can redirect my translators to
LP?
On a slightly related note, I only want to use LP for translations for
the time being. How can I turn off features like Answers and
Blueprints?

Source imports are not related (yet) with Translations in Launchpad so
you don't need to get it running to get translations imported.
If you want to start again using Launchpad for translations, just go to
your imported template on
https://translations.launchpad.net/taskcoach/trunk/+pots/taskcoach click
over 'upload a file' and upload updated .pot files and any .po file
updated outside Launchpad and translators will be able to resume
translation work there.

We don't have yet a way to disable them.
