Hi,
We release a new version of Launchpad roughly every four weeks. Each
release is tied to a milestone in Launchpad.
Just after we make a release, I update the Coming Features page with
highlights of what we have planned for the next few months. You can find
it at:
https://help.launchpad.net/ComingFeatures
Getting your feedback on our planned features is really important. If
you have questions about how new features will affect the way you use
Launchpad, or you have any other comments, please email me -
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
If you want more detail on future features and fixes, you can find links
to milestones for each part of Launchpad at:
https://launchpad.net/launchpad-project
Sometimes, testing will raise issues or we may refocus our effort. So,
not every feature or fix targeted to a milestone will appear in that
release. Also, we may release the occasional surprise feature :)
I've also created a page that shows you the dates for the rest of this
year's Launchpad releases:
https://help.launchpad.net/ReleaseDates
Please do mail me if you any concerns, praise, suggestions or questions
about the features and fixes we've got planned.
Thanks!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't all pot files be in English?

Yes, this is the right mailing list.

Unfortunately, Launchpad is not able to handle template files that don't
use English as the language for its translations. In fact, why aren't
you using English in the catalog?. Nowadays all applications use English
for it because is more easy that any language translator knows English
instead of Spanish.
Said that, technically, we could add a way to support such option, but
this is the first time we get this kind of request since we started the
project more than two years ago, and thus, before we agree on
implementing such support, we would need a good rationale to justify it.
Cheers.

Technically, it's not needed. But if you want a good translation
coverage, using English is the best way to allow it and that's why we
assume it's English in Launchpad.
Cheers.
