I recently updated the Firefox Launchpad Improvements Firefox extension (a collection of Greasemonkey scripts that modify Launchpad) to display the quantity of duplicates a bug has in the duplicates portlet on a bug page. The extension is available in a PPA at https://launchpad.net/~gm-dev-launchpad/+archive/ppa.
