Hello, We've just enabled asynchronous package copies to PPAs for beta testers. If you're in the Launchpad Beta Testers team [1], you should be able to use the +copy-packages page to copy packages from another PPA without timeouts [2]. Please file bugs in the usual place [3] if you notice anything wrong with this! If this testing phase is successful, we will roll this out to all users.
