Hello Jo, I can't help you with your problem but I mentioned that you are using LabVIEW functions that I'm using, too. My question: have you ever tried to write an OPC item that isn't registered to the server so that it has to register it dynamically to your OPC group? If so, was your server able to recognize the requested data type? How were you doing that? thanks for thinking about it! Sebastian
