As others mentioned, tab to or use the tool palette to select the paint brush. Right click on the border or background, whatever you are trying to recolor. Move the mouse around the color picker. If the object can be colored transparent,the upper right will contain a T for transparent. some things, like the background of a window cannot be transparent and there will be an X there instead. The color picker lets you specify a foreground and background color at the same time. On some objects, it is rare for the color to be changed, so it will default to only one color. Other objects only use one color and ignore the other. Other objects are really just shading and ignore all colors except for Transparent and non-transparent. For these objects, hit a key to toggle the color picker between FG, BG, and both color picking modes. Greg McKaskle
