ActiveX controls embedded on a front panel sometimes do not display on a remote client because they draw and operate almost completely independent of LabVIEW. If possible, try remotely controlling your VI with a client computer that has a complete installation of LabVIEW. The error could also be a bug. Try downloading the evaluation version of LabVIEW 7.0 from http://www.ni.com/labview. By doing this, we can determine if it is a bug in the older version that has been fixed in the latest version.
