Now that's interesting and could explain on of the issues I had problems with.
Thanks I have this sneaking suspision that all is not well with this function and that it is not actually turning the feature off correctly!! At this point it needs more work to confirm the nature of the issue I am experiencing. As you are probably aware with RS232 you need to take care as it could be the other end causing the issue. Any thoughts ?
