Hi Ryan, I am not too sure what you mean when you state that you didnt install the component originally. Is IDL installed on your computer? Did you copy the IDL ocx file from another pc and not register it with Windows?
Research Systems dont release the ActiveX component without buying the IDL software. The ActiveX component gets installed and registered during the IDL installation.
