Thanks for your responses. I am still in my investigation stage and I am trying to find the cheapest way to make an FRA (Freq. Resp. Analyser). Therefore, I am looking at the Velleman pc sig. gen at $150 (<1MHz). I am trying to control (ultimately) everything through lab view (student version) or possibly version 6.1 I am not too sure of its protocol and guess it is something rather special. Thanks Wayne
