Hi I am pretty new to LabView programming and am having a project that involves acquisition using GPIB. I have never used GPIB before.
The two instruments that that I will be using are Keithley 237 HV Source and a HP Agilent Multimeter. The process is basically applying current from the HVsource to material in test and measure the voltage across using the HP multimeter. Being new to GPIB, I was wondering how to start on this. I was wondering whether there are any standard routines to reading/writing, configuring instead of me writing for the Keithley and HP instrument that I will be using. This would be helpful for me to start with. Also, I would like to know where to start reading to develop progams for the same.
