Hi List,
A little while back I had problems with a Windows XP
system pausing.  Some suggested I check to see if
the IMAQ card was sharing interrupts or if there was
any spy ware on the computer.
 
Well after trying everything to do with the computer
hardware and operating system (even threatening it with
a really big hammer didn't help), I found the problem lay
in the LabVIEW code.
 
I had set just a couple of VI's to High Priority and setting
these back to Normal Priority fixed the problem.  Why this
caused the problem I have no idea since the processor was
only being used about 50% of its capacity, so you would 
think it would have plenty of time to handle mouse events
on the IMAQ window.
 
Anyhow here is one person who wont be messing around with
priority levels for a little while to come.
